At the heart of Narellan Pools lies a deep-rooted philosophy of making a difference and giving back to the communities we operate in. The Splash Foundation embodies this philosophy, with a mission to create a positive and lasting impact on local communities by offering the joy and benefits of swimming to community groups across Australia. Our vision is to foster healthier, more connected communities through the shared experience of swimming and the communal spirit it inspires.
The Splash Foundation offers a fibreglass swimming pool grant that covers the cost of installation, including all necessary council requirements, for an in-ground swimming pool for an Australian community group. This program aims to provide access to swimming facilities, encouraging physical activity, social interaction, and overall well-being.
The Splash Foundation Grant is open to organisations operating in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria or South Australia. Applications must demonstrate how the addition of a pool will benefit the services they provide and the community they support. When applications are open, there will be a form live on our Splash Foundation page in which you can input your details and the full application form along with the next steps will be sent to you via email.
Applicants should address how they will meet the following objectives:
1. Delivering swimming opportunities to new and diverse communities in inclusive and engaging ways;
2. Addressing barriers to swimming, including:
i. Socioeconomically disadvantaged communities; or
ii. Persons with disabilities.
In your application you will need to demonstrate the following:
1. Community Need;
2. Programs have Sustainable Outcomes;
3. Programs have Tangible Measures to show impact through outcomes achieved;
4. The Applicant has the capacity to successfully undertake the Program.
There is one grant round per year.
Applications will be assessed on the following criteria:
1. Strong alignment with the Program objectives;
2. Need for the Program in the community;
3. Strong benefit and/or expended reach to the community;
4. Clear outcome measures have been considered for reporting;
5. Evidence of a well-planned budget;
6. Community support of the Program and links with community partners; and
7. Demonstration that the Applicant has the capacity to successfully undertake the Program.
It will take approximately four weeks for all applications to be reviewed once the application period has closed, with the successful applicant announced in December.
The successful applicant will be notified via phone and email, with subsequent communication with their local Narellan Pool builder to confirm the build logistics.
Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email.

Upon the announcement of the successful applicant, your local Narellan Pool builder will reach out to determine preferable timings for the pool installation process to commence. While the length of this process varies, we will work with you and our providers to ensure it is completed as quickly as possible so your community can swim into a brighter future.
